Name: Leyra "Ley" Myeong
Age: 2 years
Species: Oriental Longhair Cat
Weapons: Gun, Knife
Current Time: +20 Days
Personality:[ Bipolar | Insecure | Emotional | Reliable | Nostalgic | Romantic ]
[ Bipolar - While Leyra has a very loving, feminine side when it comes to take care of other base members, she usually is more of a tomboy and will bring herself into danger whenever she can. This brought her a certain disrepute as a clumsy female, who is not worth being taken serious. Whenever someone shows clear disrespect to her nature, she grows angry and will most likely start a fight. On the other hand, she can react different from what others would expect and confuse them, what brings her great amusement. She enjoys all the little, girly things, such as flowers, long chats and crushing on handsome guys, when being with other females. With males, she tries to act tough, often trying to copy her brother's actions and personality traits. ]
[ Insecure - In her duty as healer she is very focused on success. As a typical member in her rank, she tries her best to heal wounds and find cures for any disease. Therefore failing to success will bring her down and cause small depressions from time to time, which she would always try to keep a secret and fake a smile, so no one would suspect anything. Her probably worst side is her great insecurity. Beside her duty issues, she tends to have a low self-esteem in every personal situation. No matter how tough she may seem when being outside the hospital section of the guild or with friends, she will always be obedient to anyone in higher ranks. ]
[ Emotional - Leyra is a little drama queen. Whenever she feels down or extremely happy, she wants to express her feelings. In a sad mood she can often get annoying to the point where people just want to slap her, to get her back to her senses. At times of anger she can sulk for days until she gets an official apologize from the person who caused it. It's suggested to keep her calm, since her temper is horrible and can be easily triggered with a bad comment on her personality. Her happy moods? The complete opposite. When she is happy about something, she walks around with a smile on her muzzle, humming a happy song and treating everyone like they are old friends. The best feelings she gets from adrenaline, when she accompanies her brother or other adventurers on their missions. This is the time one can talk to her the easiest without ruining her mood. ]
[ Reliable - The young feline is a hard working healer. Ever since she started working in the guild, she swore to herself that she would never give up easily on anything. She manages to get things done before the deadline and would never dare to be lazy. If the situation looks difficult, she would always ask someone else for help or seek her knowledge in books and old formulas. On missions she is dedicated. Her personal goal is to finish each of them before anyone else, what of course is more a wish than a fact. Requests from friends or the time keepers are something she puts over her own priorities, as she thinks it will make her more popular among her friends. She rarely wants something in return, though. ]
[ Nostalgic - Memories, memories. That has always been something Leyra loved to spend her time with. When being with her brother, she often speaks of old references from their past together, with their parents and of the time in the orphanage. The two of them act like little kits on a daily basis, what can become very embarrassing when being watched. Leyra prefers to think of solutions for problems she found in the past, when a similar issue comes up and gives others advices she heard from her parents and older brother. ]
[ Romantic - Leyra has a side every girl should have; The side of a hopeless romantic. Although she is acting like a male most of the time, she has the wish to find someone who would love her for every little flaw she has. She can keep crushes for a long time, but almost never tells them about her feelings, and eventually gives up on them, if they do not show any interest towards her. From old love stories that her mother told her, she gained the secret wish of being with a hero, a prince who would protect her outside of the guild, if she is not strong enough. The way to her sensitive heart is a difficult path, though. It takes much time to turn from a crush into a lover, starting with gaining her trust. ]
Brief Backstory:Leyra and her brother Amun were born to two loving parents. They were no members of the guild, so they had to raise their kits on their own. Therefore they used to be a poor family, who would barely survive each day and had to give their extra time to their offspring, until one day Leyra's feather got an invitation from the guild from a stranger, who felt pity for the starving felines. This was the day their life was supposed to change. With gaining time from missions and the kits receiving their time from the time keepers, the family managed to recover. But it all seemed too happy. Leyra's mother, Nichatha, grew suspicious. The she-cat was affected by the life which they had been living. The comfort the guild was praying on them seemed fake in her eyes. Weeks passed, in which Nichatha avoided any contact to the guild members, even ignored her own mate. The only thing she cared for were the little furballs she had given birth to, Leyra and Amun, who were slowly growing.
One fateful day, their father did not return from one of his missions. The family waited through the day, the night, the next... Eventually he was confirmed dead by the adventurers' Time Keeper. The reason for his death stayed unknown. The two kits, who were not able to understand what happened to their father yet, were told that he went on a long journey to the stars, what calmed them down, stopped their endless questions. And Nichatha? She had a smile on her face. No... she even snickered.
Finally the two kits were allowed to leave the hospital section of the guild and explore the rest of it. Both were fascinated by the adventurers, who received time for their missions. "One day we're gonna be adventurers, too." the tom said and the graybrown she-cat agreed. It was a hard time for them to wait. The time when they could start their training to be adventurers was still far away. Leyra used this time to explore more classes. However, the inventors class was too loud for her, too dirty, too smart. The next stop was the healer class. She enjoyed watching the healers take care of their patients, but at the same time she did not find it as exciting as the adventurer class.
At the awaited day, the start of their training, the two kits couldn't wait to tell their mother about their experiences with the older adventurers. But for some reason they could not find her. She was not in her house, nor was she around the places a non-class would stay at. At the coming evening she was still not back and Leyra got as worried as her brother Amun was. At this time they had understood what happened to their father, and feared the same could happen to her. But she was no adventurer. Where would she go? Shortly after they went to sleep, noises came from the main clearing. The siblings went outside, to find a horribly starved silhouette of a feline, covered in black, bad smelling poison. Around this monster, adventurers had gathered, ready to fight, if it attacked. This was when they recognized her. It was Nichatha. Used to be Nichatha. This was not their mother anymore. And in the span of a few seconds, time seemed to stop - she attacked.
In the upcoming morning, the time began to flow again. A dead mother, lying on the ground. Her blood drying in the heat of the sunrise. The Time Keepers gave the kits into the guild's orphanage. Despite what happened, Amun continued his training to become an adventurer. And Leyra? She wanted to know what happened to her mother, what turned her into this monster. "Time Keepers," they had answered. "Time Keepers who do not live among us. They do not seek harmony. Never talk to them, little one. They poison your mind." The continuation of Leyra's training was canceled by her own wish. The only thing ringing in her mind? Poison. She never wanted to see anyone suffer this way again. She then decided to become a healer. Her goal - Find a cure to the disease which killed her mother.

"Amun is my littermate. I adore him and look up to him. He is a great fighter... maybe a little hot-headed. Other than me he does not care for others much. But even though, I don't know what I would do without him. Ever since we were kits he were there for me and I trust him blindly. I'd give my life for him."

Without any more hesitation, Leyra padded around the statue and and looked over to the forest behind the main road. One of her ears twitched, as she was trying to find a sound in the distance. Out on her own she would be helpless and once again the feeling of a foolish act came to her mind. Should she turn around? Another brief look at the sky told her that, even in the upcoming time of sunrise, she was still not safe if she went outside the basement at this very moment. Her mind was dashing with the images of vampires, werewolves and other monsters that could kill her in an instant. She was no fighter. Contrary to her brother she had no fighting experience and did not know how to defend herself against one of these supernatural creatures. With a loud sigh she sat down and curled her tail around her front paws. She hung her head and flattened her ears in sadness. Why was she such a coward? As she opened her eyes again slightly, she starred at her paws and her claws, which she unsheathed and sheathed a few times. No matter how much she would try, she would not be allowed to go outside alone at night time. But she was tired and did not want to wait for the sun to shine. With her tail between her hind legs and the ears still down she walked to the lake, which lay a few feet away from the inventors room."Who am I trying to fool?" she said to herself, as her gaze met the clear reflection of the water, her beautiful, grass green eyes shimmering in the light of the stars. Her heart felt like there was a huge weight on it. Careful and slowly she took a herb which was growing near to her paws and stared at it. "No cat mint will help me with this decision..."
